Tip of the Day

If your doctor confers a diagnosis on your child with which you are not familiar, don't go home and Google it.

You're sure to find an abundance of words like "surgery" "paraplegia" "spina bifida" "deformity" "lung failure" "neurological parapaethesia" etc.

Don't do it.

You're welcome.

I'm just here to help.

Because Grant was diagnosed with a "wedge deformity" at T7-T9 yesterday...I wanted to find out what that might MEAN, since we can't get into the specialist until May 12.

We'll be praying that whatever the problem, it will be treatable.

Your advice is good--even though I probably would google an unfamiliar medical term that was used in reference to my child, despite your warning.
