Well, when you follow Christ, you can know that HE is IN the detour. I remember being told that Bill Bright traveled so much that his flights were often changed. This often meant he missed a speaking engagement. I know a lot of Christians who would stomp and insist that they be on the plane that they were booked on, he simply said, "there is someone on THIS plane that needs to hear the gospel, from me". That's what I thought when I saw that particular billboard. However, I did chuckle, Loudly, I might add, when it said, "text if you love Jesus!" that was right after a different church posted, "text us your prayer requests" AND, they left the number ;-)
