Baker's Dozen

This successful baker maintains honest weights and makes sure he gives people exactly what they pay for...no less and no more.  Through the challenge of an old woman, he learns the joy of generosity and experiences that being generous is more profitable for everyone than being exact.   A good legend accompanied by excellent illustrations.

Thanks! I was thinking of asking you some of your favorite kids Christmas books when I saw your Christmas bookshelf picture on FB. I like to buy one new Christmas book each year, and we bring them out only at Christmas too. This year I bought a paperback from Dover of "Favorite Christmas Poems".

Well...I wouldn't call this one of my favorites, but I do like it. I guess you've seen by now that I have reviewed several kids Christmas books this month!

Dover has some excellent Christmas books!
