Nobody plays with him...takes him for walks...keeps up with his health...bathes him except by force...yada, yada, yada...
Bottom line: We're NOT dog people
This is Simon. He is almost 2 years old and weighs about 30pounds. He is house-trained and is eager to please. He is obedient and even knows a few "tricks." There is nothing wrong with him, just with us.
Are you dog-people? Can you give this dog a good home? We'll strike you a bargain! Yes...I'm serious...he's for sale.

Do Steve and the boys know about this? Oh yeah, they don't read your blog. I am not a dog person either, but Simon is such a sweet dog...Go for it, Mark!!
Actually, Mark, we expected him to get to about 25 pounds! He is full grown...and a bit overweight because he gets no playtime or walking and a few too many table scraps!
Is this Mark Horne I am talking to? Because if it is, he's yours for the taking...and the sooner the better. He comes with a kennel, he is up-to-date with his shots, and we'll give you collar, leash, tags, food, bowls and even the gate, if you want it.

Debbie - I am NOT sneaking around behind my husband's back! In fact, this is HIS doing...maybe because he is tired of my grumbling, but it was initiated by him! And yes, the boys know too. We have been warning them for months that if they did not assume full responsibility, we would get rid of him. Eric says he doesn't care, but he'll cry. Grant is already angry about it and will be very sad.
