30 in 30: Garden Herb Dinner Rolls

Garden Herb Dinner Rolls

Gather some herbs from your garden.  Most any combination would work.  I used:

10-12 Garlic Chive stems
3-4 Sage leaves

Crush using mortar and pestle

Add and combine thoroughly:
 2 T. garlic
1/4 c. butter 

Spread butter-herb mixture on inside of sliced rolls.

Bake at 350 degrees for 6-7 minutes, then broil on High for an additional 3 minutes, or until top is golden brown around the edges.

The combination of chive and sage lent a tangy sweetness to these dinner rolls, that I really liked.  Don't have sage or chives in your garden?  Let me know...I'll bring you some on Sunday!
